Strategic Specialist for Procurement and Acquisition Strategy
William (Bill) Morris came to Caribou Technologies after retiring as a partner from PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting (PwCC) in June 2003. He joined that firm in 1993 after a distinguished career in the United States Navy during which he attained the rank of Rear Admiral and held several of the service’s most senior positions in Acquisition and Logistics. In the past two years, Bill has served as an independent business consultant and on the Boards of several private business firms.
During his military service, he was responsible for all U.S. Navy and Marine Corps procurements, determining policy, developing acquisition strategy and providing oversight for the efficient conduct of a $30 billion annual business.
As a partner for PwCC, Bill was in charge of delivering all services and managing all aspects of developing business strategies and leveraging technology to achieve process improvements throughout the supply chain. He implemented Activity-Based Costing (ABC), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Business Process Redesign (BPR) Solutions. He was a principal integrator of solutions with PwCC defence practices throughout NATO countries.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Science from Bloomsburg University, and an M.B.A from George Washington University. He is a graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces and the Executive Management Course at Harvard University, and is also the director of the Procurement Round Table, Washington, D.C. Additionally, Bill serves on the Board of Advisors, National Contract Management Association and on the Board of Trustees, Navy/Marine/Coast Guard Residence Foundation, and is a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Naval Institute.
