Bob Gourley
CTO, Strategic Specialist for Intelligence, Cyber Security, Networks, and Application Development
Bob Gourley joined Caribou Technologies in 2007 following a distinguished career in the U.S. Navy and commercial and government sectors. His most recent government service was as a senior technology executive of a $6 billion per year intelligence agency and its $1.2 billion per year global IT enterprise.
Bob has a deep understanding of the technical and operational dimensions of IT systems and how to use IT for mission success in command and control, strategic and combat system networks. He is deeply networked into the federal marketplace and into the IT community. He serves on two commercial advisory boards, two non-profit advisory boards, and two senior government advisory boards.
Bob has three advanced degrees including a Master of Science in Computer Science. He received the 2007 InfoWorld Top CTO award, recognizing him as one of the 25 most influential CTOs in the world, and was CTO of an enterprise that won CIO Magazine’s top 100-enterprise award for 2007. Additionally, Bob is an award winning writer, speaker and information security expert.
